Vote “Yes” for the New National Commercial Agreement!

If you are a member eligible to vote on ratification of the new 2011-2014 National Commercial Agreement, keep an eye on your mailbox!  Ratification ballots and copies of the Terms of Settlement were mailed on September 29th. The deadline for ballot return is October 28, 2011, no later than 5:00pm EST.

After many months of negotiation, your bargaining committee achieved a strong agreement that will benefit members with a general increase of 7.5% (2.5% increase per year over three years); an additional 1.5% increase in residual fees, additional increases in rates for cable, specialty and other media use; increases in session and use rates for commercials made for New Media; and clearer, stronger terms on issues of dignity and respect, health and safety, and accessibility.

Please vote YES before October 28, 2011.
